York Tech's World of Work Speaker Series Continues with Emily Pilloton

ROCK HILLóYork Technical College's 2013 World of Work (WOW) Speaker Series will continue on Wednesday, March 6, with Emily Pilloton, founder of the nonprofit design agency Project H Design. Pilloton is also the author of Design Revolution: 100 Products That Empower People and Tell Them I Built This: Transforming Schools, Communities and Lives with Design-Based Education.

Pillotonís lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Hood Center. All WOW lectures are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

York Tech's Business and Information Technology departments are sponsoring the World of Work Speaker Series. The theme of the series is Business Innovation Through Education, Design, and Technology.

Product design entrepreneur Chad Lockart launched the series last month. The third speaker will be Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., J.D., SPHR, past chairman of the Society for Human Resource Management on April 22.
